My name is Ted Wallen. I am a multi media artist living along the New Jersey shore. I spend my days tattooing at White Lotus Tattoo, and nights are spent in my home studio, exploring similar subject matter… but in much different mediums.

In 2019 I began painting with the intent of breaking away from some of the habits I had developed while being in the mindset of what makes a good tattoo design. Painting has become a way for me to escape the pressure of delivering an image based on someone else’s expectations. This experimenting with paint has carried over into my tattoos and both have benefitted tremendously from the cross training.

I am currently in the process of building a collection of work that I plan to show in Spring 2025.
